Cosa provi guardando questa foto?
Stephen: Lo trovo stratificato e con uno sguardo potente. Lo sto guardando, ma è anche molto forte, mi guarda, mettendo in discussione i miei pensieri su ciò che sto guardando.
Quindi è un gioco tra spettatore e risposta, nella fotografia che in un certo senso provoca emozioni.
Tom: La donna è lontana da qualcosa e mi è sembrato che mostrasse una sorta di separazione o isolamento
e il modo in cui teneva l'immagine, mi sembrava che fosse una persona molto riflessiva e assorbente nei ricordi
Robin: La donna sembra triste, malinconica, vulnerabile. Sembra che stia cullando la nave, per sicurezza, o per prendersi cura di essa.

What do you feel when looking at this photo?
Stephen: I find it layered and possessing a powerful gaze. I am looking at it, but it is also very strong—it looks back at me, questioning my thoughts on what I am observing. So, it’s a game between the viewer and the response within the photography that, in a way, provokes emotions.
Tom: The woman is distant from something, and it felt to me like it showed a sort of separation or isolation; and the way she held the image, she seemed to be a very reflective person, absorbed in memories.
Robin: The woman seems sad, melancholic, vulnerable. It looks as if she is cradling the ship, for safety, or to take care of it.
